- Begin signing OPSEU/SEFPO cards in a show to government of your unity and commitment towards some form of collective bargaining
- Attend one of the virtual town halls (at 7:30pm on Nov. 30, and Dec. 7, and Dec. 11 at 10am) to find out more about OPSEU/SEFPO and the proposed Cooperation Agreement between the OCA and the union.
- From Dec. 10 to 13, vote on the Cooperation Agreement.
Campaign plan: in the New Year, prior to the June provincial election, OPSEU/SEFPO asks government to voluntarily recognize OPSEU/SEFPO as Coroners’ bargaining agent.
Negotiate framework that allows for collective bargaining
Elect bargaining team, set and prioritize demands
Negotiate collective agreement
Coroners ratify collective agreement and become OPSEU/SEFPO members
