Mainstay Housing workers tell management to stop “nickel and diming” workers!
OPSEU members of Local 540 were joined by OPSEU members from the Greater Toronto Area Council, Nancy Pridham and Rod Bemister, region 5 Executive Board members, members of the Power Workers’ Union and Terry Downey, Executive Vice-President, Ontario Federation of Labour and OPSEU staff representatives at their information picket at the Mainstay Annual General Members’ meeting in Toronto on June 22.
The bargaining team is scheduled to meet with the employer on June 28 and 29. The members will be in a strike/ lock out position on June 30.
