WHITBY — Norma Gunn has been the victim of 16 assaults at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. An award-winning nurse, she is now struggling to recover from the last, which has left her with both physical injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Most shocking is the response from her employer, who left her to drive herself home after a six-minute beating. They are now trying to transfer her back to the main campus of the hospital where the man who beat her still resides.
